Blessing and Anointing in Sickness

Most religious traditions provide ritual to bless and honor the body of a person during serious illness or prior to major surgery. Our ritual is adapted according to the specific beliefs of the individual. It need not be religious in any traditional way whatsoever, but simply a time to honor the body that holds the spirit of the person who is sick.
